This is origami 101. I'm Bruce Gemmell, co-founder of Art Science Complex. There are two basic folds from which everything in origami is made. The mountain and the valley fold. Some people find this confusing. Here is what we're going to do. A valley fold is basically taking the paper and folding it over on itself, alright? Folding it. So when you unfold it you have a valley. A mountain fold is folding the same piece of paper, only in this case it folds away from you. And when you fold it, nice and simple, what you end up at the end with is a mountain. And a valley. Who knew you were going to be studying geography as well as origami. I don't see why this is complicated but then again, that's for other people. That was origami 101. I'm Bruce Gemmell and I'll see you soon.
