Hello, I'm celebrity chef Mariko, and today I'm going to show you how to heat kielbasa. I absolutely love kielbasa. It's really smoky and has a lot of good flavor and it's perfect for breakfast or lunch or even dinner all of them at the same time. So today I'm going to show you the perfect way to heat kielbasa so you get it nice and cooked in the middle but a nice crunch on the outside. To get started you'll want to heat your pan to medium high heat. It's a non stick pan, it's fine as it is or you can put a little bit of non stick spray to help prevent your kielbasa from sticking. Then I'm going to cut up the kielbasa. Today I'm using an organic turkey kielbasa. There's so many different types out there so use whatever your favorite is. There's actually a restaurant in Los Angeles that's actually one of my favorite places and they h ave a rattlesnake and crocodile kielbasa. It's surprisingly really, really good and some day I hope to find it in the stores. OK so when I am cutting my kielbasa I like to do it in nice long pieces. This means I can get most of the surface area in the pan so I get a nice even heat on it. So you can see that it's just long strips. Now I'm just going to put it in my pan to heat. After heating on medium high heat for about a minute in a half on each side, your kielbasa will be ready to serve. This is Mariko showing you how to heat kielbasa. Enjoy.
