Hi, I’m Faith Sheridan. I have a design firm in Seattle, Faith Sheridan Design Group. And, I’m here talking to you now about zebras and fabrics, which seems kind of odd maybe, but how you combine fabrics and wall coverings to make your home come together with a statement is behind me with this large zebra pattern. This pattern is well-known, by the company Scalamandre. It’s used in their advertising, and lots of people recognize it. If you use this fabric in your home, what would you put with it? What fabric would you put to balance it and harmonize? I have one here that I’d suggest would make a great complement to this wallpapering. The pattern of this fabric is large, like the pattern of the zebras. It’s colorful, and I think they’d look beautiful together on the wall. So, you want to think about harmony of colors, and scale of fabrics and wall coverings when you’re working with a bold pattern. The other thing that Scalamandre does is use this iconic zebra pattern in other promotional areas, and I have one in my future, as we look forward to the rainy days of Seattle coming forward.
