My name is Susan Combs and I'm an insurance broker for Combs and Company. Today we're going to talk about how to evaluate your insurance performance. So the best thing to do is if you are looking to evaluate a carrier directly to go to AM Best website. So this company is actually responsible for rating insurance companies. So when they evaluate and rate the insurance companies they look at how they payout claims, you know, what lawsuits that they have had against them, you know what their shareholdings are and things like that. So they actually come up with a very accurate rating. So that's the best place to start. You know I would always recommend that you only go with an A rated carrier because those tend to be the more reputable carriers out there. I mean you can also let Google be your guide. I mean if you are looking at specific health, you know, health insurance or general liability carrier, you know of any, you know, carrier of any nature to just Google that carrier and see what's on the, in the chat rooms and on the blogosphere and see if there's a carrier that people are singing their praises for or if they are criticizing because that will actually tell you what real world experience is going to be. So like I said the best place to start is going to be AM Best and then just let Google be your friend.
