My name is Susan Combs, and I'm an insurance broker for Combs and Company. Today, we're going to talk about how to get life insurance at age 40 with no health related questions. So when it comes to getting life insurance typically they are going to ask yo health questions. So a lot of times life insurance companies also require you to have a physical too because they want to make sure that you are a good risk but there are some companies out there that if you are just looking for a very basic small policy you know, typically under $50,000, in benefit, you know there are some places that will actually do it on what's called a guaranteed issued or a guaranteed acceptance basis so you want to take a look at those key words because those are going to be the ones that will take you no matter what and even if they ask you some health questions, they are going to be guaranteed acceptance and guaranteed issued. The other place to take a look is your employer because if your employer has some group life insurance in place, usually those are guaranteed issued and it's just, you know, usually one time is your salary, or two times your salary or it might be a flat dollar amount but usually no health insurance or health related questions are asked during that time. So you know if you are looking for this as an individual you know, find a broker and tell them what your issues are and they might be able to find a carrier that either does guaranteed issue or maybe they are more lenient with your health restrictions.
