Hi, this is Nicholas Iarocci, The Home Source Guy, president and owner of Source Development, Inc., a residential and commercial construction company in Garnerville, New York and this is the parts needed for a dishwasher installation. So what parts do you need to install a dishwasher? Well the first thing I'd recommend is getting a universal plumb pack. You get this at any home store. It's got your hoses, fittings required and these universal packs actually have fittings for numerous applications, different machines that vary slightly so this one has even got a valve that shuts the water in case you have an excessive leak. Electrically you need two wire nuts and a Romex connector, some Teflon tape to connect your fittings and a clamp for the dishwasher hose, drain hose, a screwdriver and pliers or a wrench. Our dishwasher has a drain hose attached to it. You may have to purchase an additional drain hose in a situation where you might install the dishwasher caddy-cornered to the sink where there's an excessively long running hose, you might have to extend the hose for some reason but normally they do come with the dishwasher. And this was the parts need for a dishwasher installation. This is Nicholas Iarocci, The Home Source Guy, helping you build a better life so reach out to me on Facebook at The Home Source Guy. We'll see you next time.
