Hi, I'm Jordan Catapano with BevMo! and I'm going to show you how to make strawberry basil mint mojito. I know it sounds sort of like an unusual combination, but you'll be surprised how good it tastes and your friends will love it. So, let's start with some muddling. I'm going to begin with three ounces of lime juice, freshly squeezed, combined with three ounces of simple syrup. It's great having it pre-made for you, you don't have to wait for it to happen. So, three ounces; one, two, three. And then, now I'm going to start to muddle the mint and the basil. I'm not going to take the entire batch yet; I'll save a few pieces for the decoration at the end to make the pitcher look really beautiful. So, I'll take a handful, about a cup worth of basil and I'm going to start to muddle this. So, now, I'm going to put in about a cup of mint. And again, I'll save a few pieces at the end for the pitcher to make it look beautiful. Alright, so now, I'm going to strain out the liquid from the basil and the mint and the sugar and the lime. And this will just catch the important parts, keep out those extra chunks of basil and mint that I don't want. Now, I might add it later, but I need room to muddle the strawberries with this mixture. I don't want it to be too crowded or I won't get all the juice that I need. A little bit more. There we go, perfect. Perfect. And if there are some piece left behind, that's fine, that's all going to the same place at the end anyway. Now, for the strawberries. I have two cups of strawberries which I'll also muddle in sections so that I have room to get the juices out. So, let's start with about a cup. Last batch of strawberries, I'm working hard for this drink, you'll be so proud of yourself by the time you finish making this. So, now I'm going to pour my lime, sugar, basil and mint mixture here and strain the strawberry juice into it. And you'll need to really push and coax the juice through. As you can see it's coming through, but use your muddler, force it through. And take your time, don't rush this part, you really want to get all the juice through the strainer. Perfect. I'm going to dump this part out, and do the rest of the strawberries. We're almost there. Alright, so now we have a wonderful strawberry mixture and it's time to start putting our pitcher drink together of strawberry, basil, mint mojito. I'm going to use half a bottle of rum. I'm choosing Bacardi white rum; this is such a good rum, it'll be perfect for this drink. Half of a bottle. Little bit more. There we go. And now, I will add my strawberry mixture. I'm going to top it off with a bottle of soda water, 10 ounces. Oh, that looks so good. Now, to make it perfectly presentable for your friends, let's add a few fresh basil leaves and mint leaves. You can also add a few limes if you want. Let's mix it around. So, here is my finished pitcher of strawberry, basil, mint mojito. The only thing I'm going to do is now add a few slices of fresh strawberry. Here we have it. Alright now, I'm going to try some. That is a perfect afternoon drink on a summer day, a cold day, a work day and not a work day, whatever, this is going to taste great. I can't wait for you to make it at home. I'm Jordan Capatano with BevMo! Cheers!
