A warranty is a type of insurance you can purchase for a product against damage or just in case it malfunctions and needs some type of repair. Some warranties may come with a deductible so please be careful to know if the warranty makes sense depending on the cost of the deductible. Many insurance companies may also have a warranty department and may provide you with a warranty. Personally I use Squaretrade.com. It's a website where you can have an account, purchase an electronic item say your phone, tablet or a laptop and you can just go on and add items as you purchase them.
