Hi, I'm Kristina Michniak from Spread Shirt, and today I'm going to show you ideas for T-shirt transformations. So a few ideas on how to transform an old T-shirt are perhaps making a blanket. Here you just cut out the front panel or back panel of the T-shirt or whatever design part of its feature that you like the most and here we have just applied it to a blanket, certain patches. It's a good way to take old T-shirts and recycle them or T-shirts that have a sentimental value to you that maybe you can't fit in any more but maybe you still want to hold onto, this is a great way to showcase them by just placing them on a blanket. Another idea is just to take a simple bleach pen and you can write out word, phrase, anything that you choose, design and you just apply it directly to the garment, let it sit for about half an hour to an hour and you end up with that bleach faded kind of hippy look. Another idea to transform your T-shirt is to make it into a scarf. Here I basically just cut off about ten inches towards the bottom of the T-shirt and then put some strips in it and then put it around your neck and you have a really simple fashion lightweight scarf. Here I just took strips of the T-shirt, leftover from another T-shirt and braided them together and then put a little broach in the center and then you have an eclectic looking necklace.
