Hi, my name is Karl Franz, and I am the owner and head barman at 67 Orange street located in Harlem, New York City. Today, I'm going to show you how to make a fake cola prop. OK so in making a prop maybe it's for a shoot or something like that, you want it to essentially maintain its character. I use some tonic. If you use sparkling water, I actually like using tonic because you add one it has great bubbles which I think are important to faking the cola experience. And the other is when I add my color by adding bitters. Once I add the bitters to this, see that color. We'll stir this in a second and it's going to look just like a great cola drink. The great thing about this though is that this is one prop that tastes amazing if you ever decide to drink it after your shoot. Again, my name is Karl Franz.
