Hi, I'm T. Cooper, I'm a New York City makeup artist, hairstylist and co-founder of Beauty and Grooming Company, Metro Look. Today, we're going to talk about short, funky styles for men. So, my model, his hair is on the short side, it's on the longer spectrum of the short side, but it's still on the short side. So, for funky hairstyles for men, I like to create some texture in the hair, so I am going to go in with my good, old-fashioned surf spray. So, I am going to go in with my surf spray, and what that does is, that really gives the hair kind of like the beach, crazy texture. And I'm just going to work that in with my fingers. And what I love about surf spray, is it's fast drying. So, you think because it's like a watery texture, it's going to make your hair wet, but not at all. It just you know, kind of breaks it up and it dries really quick. Then, I'm going to go in with some good, old fashioned styling wax, mama loves her styling wax. Warm it up in the palm of my hands and just distribute it throughout the hair. So, now, here's time for the funky. So, how funky you want ti, depends on your personal style and what it is that you like. But I like to use my fingers and not a comb, because then it give sit that piecey effect. And then, sometimes things that you didn't intentionally see happening, start to come together and you're like, wow, I didn't even think the hair was going to do that. So, when you use your fingers, a lot of times you surprise yourself with what your air or what other people's hair can do. And you just an start to build a lot of really cool shapes that you didn't intend on and it looks awesome. That's been my new favorite word of the day, like I've been saying that all day, I'm like, awesome. But this does look awesome. And you see, you just play with it, see what the hair will do. And I'm just going to flare this out a little bit and get it nice and funky. There's a nice, short, funky, cool hairstyle with minimal effort. I'm T. Cooper and thank you for watching.
