Hello. My name is Josiah Rea. I'm going to show you how to find compatibility for an Intel motherboard. Specifically the D945PSN motherboard. And to do this it's a pretty simple search to the product specifications from the support page from Intel. What we're going to do is open up a browser and you can see that all I've done is I've typed in the Intel for the maker of the board and then the product code. And if we come down here the first thing it will open up is the product features. And right here, pretty close to the top it says that it is compatible with the Pentium D Pentium 4 and the Celeron D processors. So there we go. That's pretty simple, pretty straightforward. But if we go back really quick, it's got this very specific page for the supported processors. So we're going to open that up. And it's got a lot more on this page. But if you look over on this side it says processor families, it's again just the Pentium D, the Pentium 4 and the Celeron D processors. However, it also shows you the system bust frequency for that particular processor or subset of processors on the board, and also the biased version that you would need to run it which is extremely important because that's one of the places that a lot of boards especially slightly older boards that will have incompatibilities. So if we look down real quick, you'll notice that the 805 processor from the Pentium D series, actually has a much, much slower speed. On this specific board of the other processors.
