My name is Robert Weeks. I'm a mixed martial artist. Today, I'm at Main Events Sports Club and I'm going to teach you about how to pick out apparel and boxing gloves for kids. When picking out apparel and boxing gloves for kids, you want to make sure you take the size of the kid in consideration. Some children are a little bit bigger or smaller than others and also you want to make sure you test out to make sure you have their waist and you check out to make sure that you have their wrist size accurate. Proper taping is still required before you put the gloves on for the kid. Also you want to make sure that you pick out proper head gear for the child as well as you want to make sure that you can cover up his face without actually blinding the child. Boxing shoes are very important then you want to make sure you have the proper shoe size for the child. Shoe size may vary from regular ordinary tennis shoes or work shoes. So you want to make sure you have your child's size correctly. When picking out glove sizes for your child, you want to make sure you know all the rules and regulations of the organization that you're in. And boxing gloves you have sizes that range from 20 ounces all the way to eight ounces. These are very specific for each glove is going to be designed a little bit differently. Some are for forearm damage and some are to protect you against skin damage on your knuckles. So you're going to want to make sure you do your investigation on to each company that makes boxing gloves. A child's glove will usually be from 16 to 14 ounce and also with correct head gear so that you don't damage or hurt either children in the event.
