Hi. My name is Cathleen Tseng. I'm the owner and creative director of Sunny Kilogram. One of the services that Google offers is free video calls. No matter how convenient text chatting is sometimes you just need to see the person to be able to communicate more effectively. Today, I'm going to show you how to make video calls on Google. Lets get started. Navigate to gmail.com and make sure you are logged in. On the left hand side here you should see your usual gchat section. Find the person that you want to have a video chat with and double click on his or her name. In this chat window lets go ahead and click on this pop out button so we get more space here, alright? And to start a video chat all you need to do is click on this more button here on the upper right and then navigate to Start video chat. Okay? So your chat should start and all you have to do is wait for the other person to answer, alright? Alternatively you can also start a video chat by clicking on this Invite to hangout button here on the left hand side. Now this button is a Google hangout session button. So if you click on this you will be able to have a video call via Google hangout and actually you can invite more than one person and have a conference call together. Video call technology is getting better every day. But you might still see a frozen screen or lag from time to time. On the whole though, I've found video calls on Google to be a great tool when communicating with clients, family, and friends. My name is Cathleen Tseng. Until next time, take care.
