Hi, I'm Cathleen Tseng. I'm the owner and creative director of Sunny Kilogram. Tumblr offers a variety of content for you to enjoy. For audio files, a streaming player is generated and you can download MP3s using an add-on called Greasemonkey. I'm going to show you how to do that right now so let's get started. Unfortunately with the introduction of the new Tumblr audio player a script I use to work with Greasemonkey to allow us to download MP3s from Tumblr, no longer works in Firefox but don't worry, there is a work around. We're going to utilize a Chrome extension written by the same author who wrote the script for Greasemonkey. So first let me show you what the Tumblr audio player looks like now in my dashboard. This is it but obviously there's no way to download this song so let's change that. Make sure you have Chrome opened and click on window here in the top menu and scroll down to extensions. And then click on this get more extensions link and in the Chrome webstore, let's type Tumtaster into the search bar and click enter. Great, this is the extension we want so let's click on this add to Chrome button and click on add in the popup. Cool, so Tumtaster has been added to Chrome. So now we can actually use it. So now let's go back to my Tumblr and I'm going to refresh the browser. This is the exact same post as before but now we have a click to download link right there, alright so all you have to do right now is right click and then save link as and you can just save this file onto your desktop and enjoy the MP3.
