Hello, my name is Gina Hills, and I'm here at Loops in Tulsa, Oklahoma. And today, we'll be talking about how to cast off or bind off loosely. The easiest way to do this of course is just to go up at least two needle sizes and cast off where the most larger needle. You only need to have the larger needle in your right hand. You don't have to transfer your work to a larger needle. You just knit, cast off with the larger needle. The other way to do a bind off that's loose is to knit two together like this and then slip that stitch back to your left needle and then bind off two again and put that back onto your left needle, like so. And you keep doing that across your work. And that is a nice loose bind off, like that. You could see the edge is very pretty that way. And that, those are my two suggestions on how to bind off loosely. Go up a needle size or you can do the knit two together and return to your left needle. Have a good day.
