Hi, my name is Christina, with DomesticFelicity.com, and today, I’m going to talk about how to transfer an infant room to a toddler room. For a baby’s room, you may have chosen really babyish décor like baby boy blue, or soft pink teddy bears, and maybe really girly things. And, as your child’s personality starts to develop and they have new interests, and you transfer into a toddler room, you may find that you want to transfer the theme of the room as well. You can pick fun themes that your children are interested in, and help decorate with toys, too – maybe toys that are a couple years too old for them and that they will grow into. So, it’s not like you’re just buying décor, you’re buying items that will also be able to be played with in the future. One example of a fun theme is a train theme. There are tons of ways to decorate with toys, and buying a few specific wall decorations can really complete the style. You can find a lot of bedding that will also coordinate. And, once your child reaches a certain age, you’ll no longer need things like cribs and changing tables, and you’ll be able to pull those out of the room to create a lot of new space for your baby’s toys.
