Hi, my name is Christina Gavenda with domesticfelicity.com, and today we're going to talk about how children get hurt on the playground. Accidents in childhood are common and normal. However most accidents happen on the playground due to lack of supervision and also not following basic rules. Both of these are solved by having appropriate supervision for your child. Supervision to make sure that your child wears the appropriate safety gear like if they are riding their bike or a skateboard, having a helmet is crucial. Also having appropriate supervision will make sure that your child isn't engaging in dangerous behavior with other children. You might not be able to control another child's behavior but you can certainly make sure that your child isn't engaging in dangerous behavior with other children. Be sure to also follow any posted rules or signs for the playground. This should help make sure that your child stays as safe as possible.
