Hi, I'm Reena from Reena.ca and this is how to get rid of the smell of rain boots. It's normal and natural when you first purchase rain boots for them to smell because of the material that they're made of but you can still take measures to help them smell better faster. And what you can do is just take a cloth and using dish soap on your cloth, wipe your boots and rinse them down with water. You can do this on the outside of the boots as well as the inside of the boots. When your boots are not in use, it's a good idea if you are finding that they are smelling to sprinkle a liberal amount of baking soda inside of the boot. Leave them, shake it around and after a few hours, pour out the excess baking soda and wipe the inside of the boot. When not in season, you are finished using your rain boots, what can you do to help them smell great? Stuff them full of crumpled up newspaper.
