Hi, this is Seth Jobin, with Fortress Computer Pros, in San Diego, California. I'm here to talk about Android versus Apple security. The debate between Android and Apple security is very highly contested in general it breaks down, the iPhone inherently has many more security measures built in, this is because they keep much tighter control over their app store, no apps get posted without express approval by Apple and as a result there's very little opportunity for any malicious apps to, to invade. Android on the other hand does keep a bit more open, open ecosystem, where third party developers and as such people with malicious intent have the opportunity to, to push apps out, There are security measure in place to screen and remove those, but a little less type of a control than Apple. Now many IT managers feel that Android does give you a better ability to create a secure device, through the use of third party applications, whether this includes remotely locking or wiping the phone and tying in the corporate networks with, with a much higher degree if integration and in addition one of the security issues with Apple is users can jailbreak the phones, unlocking them to, to use unlicensed applications which also exposes them to potential malicious software. Once again, this is Seth Jobin, from Fortress Computer Pros, in San Diego, California. And this has been Android and Apple smart phone security.
