How to Raise the Humidity of an Indoor Garden

Hi. I'm Robyn Jasko, author of Homesweet Home Grown and founder of Grow Indie. And today, I'm going to teach you how to raise the humidity of your indoor garden. So during the wintertime it gets really dry in your house and you know with all the heat going and a lot of plants tend to dry out. But there's a really simple fix for this. You can easily raise the humidity of your indoor garden just by getting a bowl with some rocks, and you want to make sure it's a shallow bowl because you're going to be putting rocks in it. So, a shallow bowl with rocks and you want to get your planted pot. You want to make sure it has a hole for drainage at the bottom. And you're going to just put the pot on top of the rocks, and then you're going to pour water in. The one thing you want to make sure is that when you're pouring the water in you don't let the water to get too high because you don't want the roots to get too saturated. So you're just going to pour some water in so that it just fills up the bottom. This is going to create a great little environment for humidity to surround the plants and it will definitely help it during the winter months. That's about right. And that's it, and now this plant will be happy and more humid throughout the winter.
