Hi, my name is Brittany Zachos, Owner and Interior Designer of the Zachos Design Group. Today, we are at Juliska Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut and today's topic is designing an Italian-inspired tabletop. I decided to keep a neutral palette and kind of just pop with the green herbs here. For the sake of this set, I used some fake ones, but definitely if you have access to fresh herbs, I suggest putting those on table, they're going to smell great, your guests will love it and you can use them to cook later on. As you know, Italians they eat and they eat a lot. So, make sure you have the bowl for the soup, the salad and the dinner plate. When you're with Italians, you need three courses to start. I also came across this oil cans and I thought they would be great addition to the tabletop, a conversation piece as well as a gift your guests can take home and use. It also kind of reminds them of their Italian tablescape experience. And of course, Italy is known for its wine. So, here I have two different types of wine. I kind of decided to use both; white wine stemless, red wine on the stem and it also kind of gives it a great texture to the table and I thought it's a great addition. Also, don't forget to use your decanter. This is a great one made from Juliksa. I really love all of their pieces here. I just think that they're so simple, but they're textured and they're really elegant that I think even using a neutral table like this, it just really pops. And this is how you design a tablescape based on Italy. My name is Brittany Zachos, Owner and Interior Designer of the Zachos Design Group.
