Hi, I'm Holly Silva, and I've been a crafts expert for fifteen years. And today, I'm going to show you how to make Italian Valentine decorations. So, here I have a couple of pieces of foam, we're going to use white today and then, we're going to use red and green. And as you can see, I cut out some stripes that will make the Italian flag. We're going to trim this off, just to make sure that it's flush with the rest. That's o.k., we'll do that and then, we'll take our Elmer's glue of course, our handy-dandy Elmer's glue. Or, you can use double stick tape, you can use anything that you like, I like Elmer's glue, because it dries hard and clear and it lasts a really long time. So, we're going to place that there, o.k., and then, we're going to take our green, make sure it fits there. o.k. And we're going to use our glue, hello, hello, Mr. Elmer and then, we're going to place that on top here, like so, alrighty. Now, if a little bit glue squeezes out, it's o.k., because this is foam, it has the audacity to spit out, but we're fine, o.k. So, now, what we're going to do is, we're going to take our handy-dandy our X-Acto knife. Now, if you are a child, you are not using this, B.T.W., you are going to ask an adult to do this. Or, if you're an adult, you may want to ask a more qualified and safe adult to do this for you, because if you don't trust yourself, I don't trust you. And I will not be held liable for any cut off fingers or limbs. Now, we're going to take our X-Acto knife, or in this case, I think, this is a Fiskars knife. We are going to make two little slices, one in the green, through the white and the other one, same place, on the red. Now, let's see, there and there. You can measure it, if you want or you can just eye it, it doesn't have to be perfect, for me anyway. You maybe an utter perfectionist and need something like that, I'm cool, I don't need it. O.k., so, then we're going to take this garland, this wire garland with the Valentine's Day theme, that I got I got at the 99 cent store for 99 cents. And we're going to measure out, I don't know, like 13, 14 inches or something., depends on what you're going to use this for. And cut it and then, what you're going to do is, pick this thing up, your little flaggy flag. And you're going to feed the wire through the back, where you made your little slice, your little slice-a-roo, you're going to feed that through. Now, it'll be a really good idea actually, to wait until your glue dries before you do this, that way, you don't get glue on all of your garland. But you know, whatever, it's just a Valentine's Day thing, you're probably going to throw it away anyway. And then, you're going to feed it back through the front, where you made that one. And that one, there, referring to the little slice that you made in the red piece of the flag. And now, check that out, you've got hearts and you've got wire and you've got an Italian flag. And now, what you're going to do with this? Now, Valentine's Day in Italy is very romantic, much more romantic than it is in the United States. So, whatever you do, whether you're with friends or whether you're out partying, or making it romantic inside. Have a good time, stay safe, don't forget the beautiful, little decorations that I just showed you. Happy Valentine's Day, see you next time.
