Hi, I'm T. Cooper and I'm a New York City Makeup Artist and Hairstylist, also Co-Founder of beauty and grooming company, Metro Look. Today, I'm going to show you a fun, fast, easy hairstyle that you can do on your flower girl. Even though my lovely model is not flower girl age, she's still going to be my demonstration model for this video. So, with flower girls, it;s always about keeping the hair off of their face because little girls they play with it. So, what I like to do is take the hair away and put it in a ponytail. For this style, you would need hairspray, a hair tie and I'm going to do a braid, so you'd need like a little clear elastic. So, you would take your hairspray, spray the sides. You can use a comb or a brush, I'm going to use a brush right now just to get the hair away from her face . They're little girls, so we don't need volume on top, that's a little too grown. Gather the hair, again, I like to do ponytails, but I like to do them on the side so that you can kind of see what's going on. Gather the hair all into this tie, split the hair into three sections, then you can begin your plait. Plait is another word for a hair braid; and plait it all the way down to the bottom. I usually recommend that you'd leave her loose, but wen you're dealing with flower girls and little girls, you really don't want to go there because they mess their hair up when they play. So, you go all the way down to the bottom, then use a little clear hair elastic and you can stop there if you like the look of this. But, if you want it to go a little further, you could wrap it around into a little bun, that would allow them even less of a possibility to mess up the hair. And then you crisscross your pins and if you like, you can add a fun hair accessory such as a headband. And we're done. I'm T. Cooper and I just taught you a fun fast hairstyle for a flower girl.
