Hi, I'm Corinna B. from the Corinna B's World Blog. Today, we're going to talk about how to prepare your skin for early morning makeup. Now, when we're putting makeup on, early in the morning, often times we're going to deal with our face being a little bit puffier. We're going to deal with puffiness around the eyes, if we haven't had enough sleep. And sometimes the skin can look really sallow. So, what you want to do, is start off with a gentle cleanse, but use really cool water. It's going to help invigorate the skin and wake it up. Next step, you can use some eye cream or eye gel that you've kept in the refrigerator overnight. So, it's going to be nice and cold, that will help take down some of this puffiness and also give you extra hydration. Or, you can use an eye mask, like this one, from Skyn Iceland, that's going to take away any puffiness, it's going to smooth out the skin and it's going to keep you nice and hydrated. Next step, is you want to use a moisturizer. You want to use a moisturizer that's going to help wake the skin up. So, anything that's got menthol and, or caffeine in it. It's going to invigorate the skin, wake it all up, get the blood flow going and get your skin looking nice and radiant again. You want to let your moisturizer soak in for a good couple of minutes and then, put on your facial SPF. I always recommend using a free standing SPF product for the face, with a minimum SPF of 30. Again, give that a minute to soak in and next, you're going to prime the skin. Once you've allowed your SPF to soak in for a minute or two, now, we're going to come back in with a primer. Which is going to get the skin completely ready to take makeup. I like to apply it first through the T-zone and then, whatever is left, bring it across the cheeks. Now, your skin is ready for makeup.
