Hi everyone, I'm hair stylist Amanda Shackleton from AmandaShackleton.com and today I'm here to show you how to make it easier when you're trying to grow your hair out. It's really difficult sometimes when you have a short hair cut that you loved and you had for a long time and then you want to grow it out and it's just at that stage where you just don't know what to do with it. So I'm going to give you a little hint here what I did when I was growing my hair out and I thought it made it kind of interesting and fun for me on a daily basis. So what I did is I took one of these headbands that looks just like this and I would pull the front of my hair back. Then I would take the shorter pieces and just pull them back here, take a bobby pin and make sure to just pin in any extra pieces. If you want to make it loser you can do that as well. There's really no rules for this hair style. It can be messy or it can be a little more perfect looking. And then I would just take a scarf. I have all kinds of scarves and I'd just take a scarf. I have all kinds of scarves and I'd just take a long scarf like this, twist it, few twists, and then bring it from behind right along the band and tie it right here on the side. And after I did that I would go ahead and just take a pin and put it on the sides of the band. And it's up to you if you want to wear it in front of your ears or behind your ears, it's really just up to you. I'm Amanda Shackleton, hair stylist and I've just shown you how to make growing your hair out tolerable.
