Hi, everyone. I'm hair stylist Amanda Shackleton for AmandaShackleton.com and I'm here to show you how to do a celebrity inspired hair style if you've got fine medium length hair. What I think is a really great idea is the style that was inspired by Beyonce and what you do is you give the hair a nice amount of height at the top and if you have finer hair, this will actually make it look thicker. So I went and did a nice tease all through the top of the head and then I'm just going to keep it really, really simple at the back. Let's pull it into a ponytail. Nice tight ponytail and then go ahead, give the ponytail a brush out and we're just going to do a really beautiful kind of knotted chignon. So all you have to do is after you've done brushing the hair, give it a little bit of hair spray, take the hair, simple, very simply twist it and then just wrap it around. Just like this. Let's pin it to make sure that it's nice and secure. And most the attention is drawn to the front of this hair style so we're really just going to keep it really simple in the back. So let's do one more pin here and then take a look at it again from the front with a little bit of a shine spray or a silicone. Spray a little bit into your hands and then go ahead and really smooth out the sides like this. You want the sides of the hair to be tight and you want there to height on the front of the hair. So there you go. I'm Amanda Shackleton, I've just shown you how to do a celebrity inspired hair style for medium length fine hair.
