Hi, everyone, I'm hairstylist, Amanda Shackleton from NYBridalbeauty.com, and today I'm here to show you a style that was inspired by Julianna Hough, and I love this style that she wore to the country music awards. It was very loose. It was very elegant but it was very natural as well and it was a style that actually just laid on one side of her neck. What we did is we curled the model's hair, you want to get it nice and curled and then just kind of pick up the hair very very loosely and start pinning it. You also don't want to forget to give it a little bit of tease at the top because if you forget to do that, it's not going to give it the dimension that it needs to look like a celebrity inspired hairstyle. What I do when I'm doing these kind of styles is I leave the front section of the hair out and then I come in with a very small iron and without opening it, I just wrap the hair around the iron, starting at the roots and I leave it there for just maybe 20 seconds until I feel like I've got enough texture in it and then I just go ahead, pull the hair out and it gives it a really beautiful wave that you can put in any direction. You can twist it if you want to twist it to give it a little more interest and just pin it in and then I'm going to do one more piece right here and then we'll finish it up by showing you how to do the hair at the front, her fringe, okay so one more curl. Let's take it out, let's direction this kind of over here a little bit. I'll take one more pin, pin that in and then for the bangs for her front, you don't want it to be too heavy and you definitely don't want it to be too curly so what I do is I just give the hair a little bit of a flip at the ends off the face so that when you do leave hair in the front, it's not going to fall forward and come into your eyes. I'm Amanda Shackleton, and this is how I do a Julianna Hough inspired celebrity hairstyle.
