Hi, my name is Lindsey Smith, Creator of foodmoodgirl.com. And today, I'm going to teach you how to make a yummy protein shake. The ingredients to make a yummy protein shake are: a half a cup of raw spinach, a half a cup of raw kale, two tablespoons peanut butter, three fourths of a cup of almond milk, two tablespoons chia seeds, a half a cup of blueberries and one whole peeled banana. It's super simple to make this recipe. You pretty much combine all the ingredients in the blender and blend. One of my favorite part about this protein shake in particular is that all the protein comes from plant base. The chia seeds alone have six grams of protein and the entire smoothie has 18 grams. So, first we're going to start with our liquid base. We're going to add the almond milk to the blender. Next, we're going to add the rest of our ingredients. "Oops, this isn't." Almond milk is another great way to pump up the protein in your smoothie and make it taste good at the same time. "Or they call them in". "Oops!" Frozen blueberries are not only high in antioxidants, but they also provide your smoothie with a really cold refreshing taste. Blend all your ingredients on a medium speed for about one to two minutes. Once all the ingredients are blended, simply pour and enjoy.
