Hi, I'm Lindsey Smith, Creator of foodmoodgirl.com, and today I'm going to show you how to make a smoothie using aloe vera and peanut butter. The ingredients for the aloe vera with peanut butter smoothie are very simple. We have a banana, a handful of ice, three fourths of cup of aloe vera juice, two tablespoons of raw cacao powder and two tablespoons peanut butter. We're going to start by taking the aloe vera juice for the base of the smoothie and then add the rest of the ingredients in. This recipe is very simple; it's combining all the ingredients in the blender. One of the things that I love about this recipe is aloe vera is great for healthy skin, improve digestion and also lowering blood sugar. The raw cacao also has powerful antioxidants in it and adds a nice chocolate flavor to the smoothie. Now, you want to blend all the ingredients in the blender on a medium power for one to two minutes or until the smoothie is the thickness that you desire. This smoothie makes great for an on the go breakfast or late afternoon snack. Now that the smoothie is blended and ready to go, we can pour and serve.
