Hi, I'm Erin Hendley, professional makeup artist, and today I'm going to show you a foundation that can cover lines and wrinkles and also minimize pores. Now when we're looking for a foundation that does all three, we're minimizing the appearance of the pores. It's not a skin care so it's not going to actually minimize the pores themselves, but it will cover them and minimize the appearance. And what's going to cover things is a mate foundation. It has great coverage, so it's really going to do the job of concealing anything that you don't want seen. Now remember that makeup covers color but not texture, so we are going to go over any lines and wrinkles that you wish to cover up but that doesn't mean the texture is going to go away. So we're just going to go in areas that we want to cover. Normally any lines or wrinkles that we're dealing with have a little discoloration. So it's still going to help conceal the things that we want to. And most of the time our pores that we want to conceal or cover are along the nose and the T-zone. So we're just going to make sure that we're covering those areas as well. The matte gives a great finish. It just gives the perfect balance for a fresh canvas for the rest of your makeup and that's very important. After we've worked with the T zone some, make sure to go in a couple of layers. The more layers you do the more coverage you're going to get. And it's always important just to remember to go with the matte foundation. It's going to be 1D but you can always go in and sculpt with your highlighter and contours. We're just not trying to bring attention to any of the areas we're trying to cover. I'm Erin Hendley, and I just showed you a foundation that can cover wrinkles and lines and as well as minimize the appearance of pores.
