Hi, I'm Erin Hendley, Professional Makeup Artist, and today I'm going to show you a good foundation for women that are 40 and above. So, as we get a little bit older, we tend to have wrinkling areas on our face, around the eyes and probably around the mouth. But, we also have some discoloration going on, so, it's important to actually mix two different types of foundations. We want our matte foundation for good coverage, where we have our discoloration that we want to cover up and then we also have our liquid foundations that are great to use over any areas that are tending to wrinkle around the eyes and sensitive areas such as that where our skin is thinning. We have two issues to address, so two different foundations are going to really help that out. So, we're first going to go in with our matte for coverage and the thing about foundation is that you don't have to apply it all over your face, it can really just be where needed. And that's what we're going to do. So, sometimes the nose gets a little bit red, so that's where we want to use our matte foundation to really just give it a nice even flawless coverage. The chin as well has the same kind of characteristics, so we're going to address that. And you can apply any of these with a brush, sponge or your fingertips, it does not matter. If there's any discoloration that is intense, you can always go in with a concealer for one step above. But, for this purposes, it's fine to just use your foundation. And now, since we're dealing with areas that tend to crease up a bit, a matte foundation would sit in those cracks. So, we're going to go in with a water based liquid foundation, which is really just going to keep those areas hydrated and not sit in the cracks. Oftentimes, under the eyes is very nice to do it as well, to give a slight lift. I'm Erin Hendley, and I just showed you a good foundation for women over 40.
