Hi. I'm Erin Hendley, professional makeup artist, and today I'm going to show you how you can save your old broken foundation. Sometimes any powder form doesn't matter if it's a foundation, eyeshadow or blush, we come with something that gets smashed and cracked. And so sometimes it's really difficult to work with when it's all loose and floating around. So what we can do is actually recreate it and make it hard again, by taking just a little bit of rubbing alcohol, just a few drops, placing it on to our pressed powder and then moving it around and mixing it back together. This will form a paste and it will be mixable after it sits out over night. So, I'm just taking a brush and mixing it together. And we can see that it's already forming a paste back together. So we just have to wait on that to dry over night. It might dry a little sooner but it's always best to give it ample time. Sometimes people bake them in the oven too. But the heat can also destroy the pigmentation, so it's best to just let it set out naturally over night. We can see that the paste is forming, so just be patient and the next day it'll be as good as new. I'm Erin Hendley, and just showed you how you can salvage your old broken powder foundations.
