Hello. My name is Nicholas Staddon from Monrovia, and we're going to talk about ideas to hide garden fences. And George, my neighbor has got his self to a great start. Look at this ugly wire fence behind. George has put this marvelous Leland cypress called gold king, on the other side so you can see how it's growing through. So four or five plants for ideas for you. The purple honeysuckle. Honeysuckle is a really fast growing plant and will cover a hedge like this perfectly. And it's pretty much evergreen in the warmer climates. Boxwood, winter gem. Winter gems going to get four or five feet high and then once it's covered the hedge, you can clip and keep it really nice and symmetrical. Now if you have a fence that's wood and you don't want to cover the whole fence, you can exfoliate pyracantha and you can really have it looking good. This pyracantha is called victory. Great display of orange-red berries. In the spring time it gets covered with white flowers. Don't prune those flowers off. If you do you're going to prune the berries off as well. But a nice exfoliate. And again for the wooden fence, this is a juniper called blue arrow, a really nice upright a medium growing variety, only gets about fifteen feet high and two and a half to three feet wide. Gelsemium sempervirens for that early flowering display of yellow flowers, again good to hide a wire fence. And then lastly something really really special, a brand new camellia called pink-a-boo, really one of the very very special Monrovia new plants. And she's fragrance, and fragrance in camellias is the holy grail. Great for hiding a fence like this because she's evergreen. This is Nicholas Staddon from Monrovia giving you great ideas to hide that fence.
