Hi, I'm Chaunta Woods fashion stylist, and today I'm gonna show you how to dress to flatter a bigger midsection. For many a midsection is one of the hardest areas of the body to tone up and many of us are still striving to get that flat toned stomach but for those of us that are still struggling to get there the most important thing to remember is how to dress to complement your figure, look good overall so that you're actually not bringing too much attention to that midsection and the focus is on you and how great you look in total. So what you want to do is first remember to avoid tops or clothing that is too tight and overally stretchy fabrics cause they really cling to the body and they're gonna actually accentuate what you're trying to conceal. What you want to do instead is opt for a most, more looser fitting top like the top that I have here, this is a cowl neck shirt, it's actually a double layer and it's really great because it has a lot of dimension and you can have basically move freely, it's quite loose and it doesn't hug the body here. What's also good is along the side it's actually straight so it's still gonna give you that nice waistline. You can pair this type of blouse with a nice skinny flat front black pant to complete your total look. You can also pop it a little bit more by adding a nice piece of bling like this necklace I have here. For those of you that like dresses try wearing a nice chiffon flirty dress like this original design I have here by Chicago based designer Kelly Brinn. The dress has a nice asymmetrical hem and does not hug the body so you really have fun and showcase those beautiful legs that you have, pair it with a nice statement necklace and you're all ready for a night out. I'm Chaunta Woods fashion stylist and that was how to flatter a bigger midsection.
