So when, if you decided to do some thing crazy at home like put bleach on your hair, how do you dry it? You need heat, heat, but the thing with heat and foil the way works is they, the hair color is in the foil, the foil when hits, the heat hits the foil it activates it and brings out the color inside the foil, that's how that works. So when you see women at the hair salon with tons of foil in their hair, they're sitting in a dryer, the heat is activating the bleach in the foil. So what if you don't have a dryer at home? Well, you could also buy a defuser that sits at the end of your dryer and you put it over, you could hold it over your hair, if you put something in foil and the heat will activate your hair. That's why we use heat to activate the color. I'm Allen Edwards, Allen Edwards Hair in Woodland Hills, thanks.
