Hi, my name is Porsha Kimble, the cake diva. And today I'm going to show you how to make baby footprints for your baby shower cake. Today, what we have is a small fondant roller, some yellow fondant. We have some footprint cookie cutters, we have water, a brush, a spatula, and some piping gel. It's pretty simple to make these baby footprints. I'm simply going to roll my fondant out. They can be thick or thin, whatever you personally prefer. I'm simply going to press in the cookie cutter. Pull back the fondant. Next I'm going to use my spatula to pick these up. Now you may notice there's some really frilly edges here on the end. Just simply use your finger and push those back in. We want to make sure we have clean baby footprints. Next I'm going to apply with water. You can even use piping gel. Make sure before you apply the second baby footprint that you have it on the right side. We definitely want to make sure that this baby has a left and a right foot. And today we just showed you how to make baby footprints for your baby shower cake. I'm Porsha Kimble, the cake diva, see you soon.
