Hi, my name is Porsha Kimble, The Cake Diva and today I'm going to show you how to freeze a cake to frost later. There is a few different options on how to freeze your cake to frost later. If you have a cake and you've baked it and it's already leveled, you can simply just place some Saran Wrap on top and then stick this in the freezer, but let's say you have to use this pan again. You've got your cake baked, you've leveled it with the knife, I'm simply just going to flip it over, take it out just cover it with Saran Wrap, if you don't have enough, just gab another piece and then wrap this tight and firmly. Be very cautious about how long you actually keep your cake in the freezer, depending on what type of food you have your cake could definitely smell like that much, much later. It should stay good in the freezer for about two to three months and if you're a little bit worried about odor or a taste, just simply put another layer of aluminum foil on top and then you're good to go.
