Hello, Robert Brace here, celebrity fitness trainer and creator of The 28 Day Challenge which you can get at And I'm here to eHow. What we are going to look at in this section is advanced back exercises. We are going to look at the single arm row. But what's going to make this advances is the way we focus on form. This is one exercise that people can do and not do it effectively. And so what I'm going to show you are some tips on how to get the most out of this particular exercise. And so you'll be doing it with advanced form and just much more effectively. So you go over to the cable machine. Again always grab a weight that your body can maintain proper form. You want to keep your abdomen pulled up. Sometimes in this position people's shoulders are rounded. Their hips are pushed all the way forward. You want to keep your back upright. Your core absolutely engaged. Now the first thing you want to do is get this shoulder blade down. So you pull down here. So your lats are connected and your abs are connected. You keep your chest up, shoulder blade back. And you are going to pull that elbow in nice and tight so you feel your lats working. What you don't want is this. You want to keep that shoulder blade back. Those lats fully engaged and as you take it out resist in the lat muscles. And then you let it out. So first motion is lat pull down, core nice and tight. Elbows pulled all the way in and keep that shoulder blade back. None of this, always here. And here's the motion. One, shoulders back. Two, shoulders back, core tight. And three. So fantastic exercise. You feel your back working. You feel your core working. And that's the way to get he most out of the single arm lat pull. My name is Robert Brace. I'm here for eHow, creator of the 28 day challenge which you can get at
