Hi, welcome back to the Cave Camp. I'm Coach PJ at CPJ Fitness in San Diego, California. Today, we're going to be doing shoulder presses and push ups. Okay. Now, I'm going to show you the combination movement with the push up and a shoulder press using two dumbbells. You grab your dumbbells and we'll start in a push up position. You're not going to let go of this at all, this is going to be a nice integrated movement, it's going to flow nicely, beautiful transitions. You're going to go down and you stay in a push up position, pop the legs out, do your push up, maybe one to five to ten, whatever you want to do. Back is straight and then when you're done with those, you're going to pop in, stand tall, bring the weights right to the shoulders. You go right into the shoulder press. Soft stance and drive it up. Drop it to just the shoulder height and up. You want to keep it just horizontal with the shoulders and up. You don't want to snag too low. So, you're driving up and again, you can do one to five, to ten reps. And your transition will be back down on the push up position, hands go wide, pop your legs out and you're on your push up position and you're banging out. It doesn't matter how you mix it up, this is how you can integrate both movements and never letting go of the dumbbells. Good luck and have some fun.
