And welcome back to the Cave Cam. I'm Coach PJ at CPJ Fitness in San Diego, California. Today, I'm going to show you lower pectoral exercises. Okay I'm sitting here because now I'm going to show you how to do a lower pectoral exercise and one of the best ways to target the lower chest region is to be in a declined position. So this is a declined bench. You have it at an angle, this is a pretty good one that will really target my lower chest. So I'm going to lie back. I've got my free weights already ready for me. I'm going to take them back with me. Your arms are up and as you notice when I go down, my hands are going to be hitting the lower region on my pecs as opposed as if I was more neutral or a level position I would be in the middle of my chest and right here, and just take it down and up. You can also integrate into chest flies but this range naturally takes my hands down to the lower part of my pecs and back up. It will be the same thing, there's no difference. It would be the same thing if you were using a straight barbell and that is a great way to target the lower pecs. Once again, I'm Coach PJ, and I just showed you lower pectoral exercises.
