Hi, I’m Teca Thompson, Farm-to-Table chef, and today we’re talking about how to cut oranges into wheels. So, I’ve chosen a beautiful ripe navel orange, and I’m just going to cut the peel off by cutting off the top and the bottom, and then just taking my knife and peeling down the side. So, you want to make sure all the little white parts are off. I’m just going to go around my orange and touch up the little places that I missed. And then, I’ll put all the rinds into my garbage bowl. Now, I’ll take my peeled orange and I’ll lay it on its side, and you’re just going to make slices all the way down. And, it makes a beautiful, beautiful orange wheel. You can also leave the peel on if you want to have that effect, but these are definitely more ready to eat if you take the peel off. And, you have your beautiful peeled orange wheels. I’m Chef Teca Thompson. That is how to cut an orange into a wheel. Thank you for watching.
