Hi, my name is Hans Langeveld, and I'm with longfield-gardens.com. I'm going to show you how to prepare a bed for Fall planting. You find a place in the border and you make sure the soil is nicely loose and it's got enough organic matter in it and if not then you have to add a little bit of top soil or you can add some peat moss just to make it nice and loose. You even it out and you will be ready for bulb planting or perennials, whatever you want to put in the border and this is the perfect time to plant Fall bulbs because they can then start to develop the roots just before the Winter and then they go dormant through the Spring when they will produce beautiful Spring flowers. This is how you prepare your Fall bed for Spring flowers. My name is Hans Langeveld and I'm the co-owner of longfield-gardens.com. Please visit our website for more tips and videos and we'll help you plan beautiful strong gardens.
