Hey, my name is Jay Jones, celebrity peak performance coach and fitness minister, and today we're going to talk about a few exercises that you can do to help reduce chafing. Now chafing happens when skin on skin rubs together or fabric on skin rubs together or even something external like a side of a machine may brush up against you constantly causing a chafing condition. So what we want to do today is focus, primarily on exercises that wont cause skin on skin, clothes on skin or even machine on skin to rub up against you. So the first thing we want to do is what we call a squat exercise. Now a squat is a very primitive, basic exercise, but a lot of people do it wrong. So some people have become timid when it comes to squatting because they heard the horror stories about knees. So let me demonstrate a good squat so you can know how to make sure you maximize in this very effective exercise. Alright? We're going to call it, prison squat. we're going to bring our arms up, we're not going to lock our fingers behind our head. We're going to place them behind each ear, chest up, shoulders are squeezed together where you feel them squeezing together in the back. And you're going to imagine yourself sitting straight down into a seat. you're pushing your hips back and you're coming straight up. Push the hips back and you're coming straight up. And the idea is to inhale going down, and exhale coming up. The next exercise we're going to do to help reduce chafing is what we call the plyometric move. It's a very old school move called a jumping Jack. Just open up, one, two, try to keep your arms as straight as possible, open your legs as wide as you can while still maintaining good balance and breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth. My name is Jay Jones, celebrity peak performance coach and fitness minister, and those are just two exercises that you can do to help reduce chafing.
