Hey there, my name is Jay Jones, Celebrity Peak Performance Coach and Fitness Minister. And today, I want to demonstrate one of the best arm exercises for the ectomorphs. Now, ectomorphs, those who are typically on the smaller or skinnier side of the scale. We typically call those hard gainers. No matter what they do, they cannot seem to quite maintain a mass or massive body. They're always working hard to maintain a physique that most people think is built and ripped. So, let me demonstrate one fantastic arm exercise for the ectomorphs, that's not only good for the arm, but for the full body. Alright. So, I'm going to use a heavy release, a heavy resistance band for this one. Okay. I think everybody knows Jay Jones is a fan of the resistance band by now. So, this is what we're going to do. The band is a little different than the dumbbell because it forces the entire body to engage, the chest, the shoulders, the lower back and of course the core. So, we want to bend that knee slightly, get a nice heavy band; make sure the band is equally length on both sides. Chest up, shoulders down and back, take a deep breath in through the nose, "Hhhhh", and exhale as we curl, "Phhhh", and down. As you can see, immediately the body responds to the heavier dumbbells. Now, we want to do a whole lot of reps because we don't want the ectomorphs to burn a lot of calories due to workout because they burn a lot of calories through their metabolism daily. So, we just want to work as much as we can with the heavy resistance so we can break down muscle tissue and they can rebuild it later.
