Hey, this is Jay Jones, Celebrity Peak Performance Coach and Fitness Minister. And today, I'm going to demonstrate an exercise that will help you do more pull-ups. Now, pull-ups are fantastic upper body builders. They give us that beautiful V-shape body that we want as men and that women always desire. But, I'm going to demonstrate an exercise that you can do with your resistance bands, that will help prepare you to do more pull-ups if you can do pull-ups already and to help you do some pull-ups if you're not able to do any right now. Alright. So, what we want to do is we want to find the heaviest band we can get. This is a 30-pound resistance band right here, alright. So, what we want to do is drop to one knee, keep our chest up and we're going to do alternate grips. So, we're going to straighten the arms, pull the chest up and pull straight down 'till we feel the squeezing in the lower back. Then, we're going to roll the palms over and we're going to do the same thing, pull it straight down 'till we feel the squeezing. We're almost simulating pulling our body weight up. But, because we can do more of these, we can fatigue that muscle group and really start to build some muscle and power. So, up and down, and as you go up and down, you're reversing your hand grip. Then, you just switch knees because of course you're engaging your core the entire time as well and you keep the hands moving. My name is Jay Jones, Celebrity Peak Performance Coach and Fitness Minister and that's one exercise that you can do to help achieve more pull-ups.
