Hey there. My name is Jay Jones, Celebrity Peak Performance Coach and Fitness Minister, and today I'm going to demonstrate how you can improve on your marine pull-ups. Now, the marine called the marine called the marines are some of the baddest leathernecks in the world. So, of course, when you become a marine, you have to demonstrate a level of physical proficiency. So, this is what we're going to do today to help you build up your upper body power, so you can whiz pass the pull up test in your military exam, alright. So, the first thing we're going to do is start off with pull-ups. That means we want our palms to face in, the chin ups basically; we're going to pull in, this is a little easier because this recruits the bicep. Now, if you can't initially come all the way up, we just want you to work in your range. A little bit of something beats a whole lot of nothing. So, we're going to train this way until you can ultimately pull all the way up. Once you get that move done and you can do at least five pull-ups, just at least chin-ups, five chin-ups with your palms facing in utilizing your bicep, then you want to move to the palms out. This is your traditional pull-up, your mar, your marine pull-up here. So, then, we want to work again in the highest range of motion we can until ultimately we pull all the way up. We can go all the way up and can complete the full range of motion. My name is Jay Jones, Celebrity Peak Performance Coach and Fitness Minister and that is how you would improve your marine pull-ups.
