Hi, I'm Chef Mariko. Today, I'm going to show you how to make a slushy margarita. There are two different types of margaritas. There's on the rocks, where you pour all your lime juice and tequila into the glass over ice and then there's a slushy margarita where you mix everything together in the blender. So, to get started, you want to grab your blender and then get a couple heaping teaspoons of frozen limeade concentrate. This is just the basic limeade concentrate that you would get at the store. You can also buy frozen margarita concentrate, but this is the same exact stuff, it's just a lot less expensive. So, add a couple heaping tablespoons of that to your pitcher. And then, I want to add a couple ounces of orange juice. Add two ounces of your favorite tequila. Add one half ounce of triple sec or your favorite orange liqueur. And then add about two to three cups of ice. Now, I'm just going to blend it until it's smooth. While it's blending, I'm going to get my margarita glass ready for my slushy margaritas. Once the margarita is blended together, get your margarita glass ready. I like to get a slice of lime and rub it around the edges of the glass. This helps it for when I dip it into the salt so the salt sticks. Now, I can just garnish it with my lime and pour in my slushy margarita. Perfect! This is Chef Mariko, showing you how to make a slushy margarita. Enjoy!
