This is Leroy Moore with Relentless Performance. We're going to talk about the benefits of bicep exercise and no, it's not a waste of time. Bicep curls are never a waste of time because not only when you do bicep curls are you working the biceps, you're also working the shoulder, the forearm, the wrist, all the muscles that support the bicep curl. These are never a bad thing. Every time you lift this weight you are working the shoulder, the forearm, you're increasing your grip strength, your shoulder strength but primarily your bicep strength, the ability to push is a great benefit in everyday life. I've rolled up my sleeves so you can see exactly how the whole arm, shoulder, bicep, forearm and tricep all work together when you are doing bicep curls. If you'll notice they all work together, everything is working together. This is why the bicep curl is never a bad idea. This is a good exercise to work the bicep primarily, shoulders, forearms and triceps are all secondary in this exercise.
