Hi, I'm Dan Reinecke with Unknown Media, and today I'm going to talk to you about types of convex lenses. A convex lens is a lens that curves outwards. The glass itself is thicker in the center and gets thinner towards the outsides. Putting it very simply, a convex lens will make an image appear larger than it does to the human eye. Most cameras that you find will be a convex lens. However, this will depend on the individual lens itself. Most telephoto lenses use a combination of convex and concave lenses all in the barrel of the lens. But typically what you see on the outside is a convex piece of glass. I'm Dan Reinecke, take your best shot.
